Looking a lot like bubbles on the side of a large boulder, I think they are actually quartz crystals with a little iron for colour? Images captured this weekend in beautiful North Wales!
Taken with my 'eye' phone. This one was the real h'eye'light for me. Oh, come on... that was funny!
It's not the clearest of my images but it was the most interesting and you can see thousands of super clear shots all over the internet after this morning's celestial events. Taken in my back garden in beautiful North Wales; the clouds were a blessing as they gave sufficient cover to enable rudimentary photography.
For Comic Relief 2015; I didn't want them wearing face paint for the whole day in school but hadn't calculated how difficult putting gloves on would be that morning! His was particularly inspired by an image on Pinterest (no reference to the original photographer sadly).
They had to design their own faces on paper first using the face paint colours I already had. Except the blue which is good old Wilton food dye :)
Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!
The back ground is an acrylic painting that I began and photographed without much intent. It was so pretty I didn't want to forge ahead without some sampling first so I uploaded the original to Procreate and played with it there. Now I don't want to paint on the background as it can never look as tight as this >_< There's no pleasing some people.
It may look like an aerial shot of some rural landscape but this is actually a macro image of some basalt I found recently although I think these patterns were made by something that has long eroded out/off the main rock.
These sections are barely a couple of centimetres wide!
