Inktober is upon us again! I have to admit, I'm using more wall paint than anything else at the moment - more to follow :)
So I could be really cheesy and say we were as happy as pigs in mud eating this cake but I wouldn't be so contrived. Neither would I mix my food metaphors so tastelessly. Natch(o).
Ha, and I'm not even hungry!
I took inspiration from the pro version all over Pinterest but made it easy. I just baked a chocolate cake FROM A PACKET *audience gasps* and decorated it with SHOP BOUGHT chocolate frosting. I know, half a job. With the addition of minty Kit Kats, Maltesers and mint Poppets I knew I had a tasty winner. All I had left to do was create an icing pig over half a giant polystyrene ball. Easy, right?
Er, no. Turns out, it's not as easy as it looks. I never would have guessed. This version was just photographed less than an hour before the one above - I'd done all the hard work figuring out how to do it before it er, crumbled in a heap - so mark II happened a lot faster.
