They're actually mallow-pops but my son prefers to say mellow. When you eat one it's a pretty squishy experience so I can understand the name change. That said, he's only 4 so possibly doesn't quite get the meaning yet. The original idea came from here. Once again, found via Pinterest.
Super easy to make too - cake pop stick dipped in chocolate and stabbed (squarely) into the base of a marshmallow. Once dry, dip into milk choccie and allow that to dry. Then, dip into white chocolate - I added a little gel food colouring to it. Please don't use the liquid colouring, it's ruin your chocolate. Whilst the top layer is still wet, sprinkle and decorate. Viola!
